TCM is an ancient healthcare system based on a systemic and functional view of the human body, aimed at balancing vital energy (Qi) and stimulating the body's natural healing ability through various therapies such as acupuncture, Tui Na massage, herbal medicine, dietary therapy, and therapeutic Qigong. TCM is an energetic medicine based on the existence of a network of energy meridians that flow through the body, along which acupuncture points are located and can be stimulated to restore balance. Additionally, TCM views the body and mind as a unified expression of the individual and considers each person as an integral part of their surrounding environment, recognizing the mutual influence between the two. In this context, illness is understood as a manifestation of energetic imbalance resulting from disharmony among the body’s functional systems.
Considering the integrative and functional approach to the body, TCM evaluates a wide range of signs and symptoms to identify the general syndrome to treat, focusing on correcting the underlying energetic imbalances. TCM is particularly effective in treating muscle and joint pain, digestive issues, stress, insomnia, anxiety, chronic fatigue, respiratory and cardiovascular problems, among others. Through specific therapeutic techniques, it helps restore the body's internal harmony, promoting not only pain and discomfort relief but also overall well-being.
Within this vast system, my focus is on manual and complementary therapies, especially pain treatment through Tui Na, acupressure, cupping therapy, auriculotherapy, electrostimulation, moxibustion, and heat therapy. These techniques help relieve pain and muscle tension, improve circulation, and restore the body's balance naturally. I specialize in the treatment of pain and dysfunctions of the spine, including lower back pain, cervical pain, herniated discs, muscle tension, sciatica, and postural misalignments. My approach combines various TCM techniques for pain relief and body rebalancing.
Each session begins with a detailed assessment to understand the origin of the pain and tailor the treatment to individual needs. The goal is to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore energetic balance. Many patients experience noticeable relief from the very first sessions.
